So somehow my daughter, the child of a tomboy, has become a princess. What has happened? She's only 2, this phase didn't hit my niece until she was 3. Breelyn now request daily to wear her princess dress and since I won't let her wear it in public (except the grocery store once)she demands to wear a dress or skirt of hers instead. She loves wearing her "pretty dresses" and spins around frequently. Stephen and I are probably to blame alittle since we constantly tell her she looks so pretty, but what happened to playing with trains and cars? Anyway for now Princess Breelyn will do.
She also is becoming quite the swimmer and fearless at that. She swims in the big pool now with just her floaties and loves to jump off the side to me. Today in the kiddie pool she attempted over and over going under with anxious mommy close by. It's so fun to see how much in just a month she has progressed! Too bad no shots of me in my mid-drift tankini were taken, you could all me laughing loudly. We go to the pool early before the crowd so I don't get too many stares, it is very refreshing though I must say.
