Mommy, Breelyn, and Callie loaded up this morning and went to Callie's 2 week check up. Daddy met us there. Callie weighed in at 7 lbs 14.5 oz (35th %) and remained 19 1/2 inches (25th %). Dr. C said she looked great! Big sister was very good at the appointment and got to pick out stickers for her help! It was funny running into Amanda P., Stephen's cousin/our friend. Her little girl is just one day younger than Callie. We then went to lunch with Daddy followed by a family-time nursing episode in the front seat of the car, all four of us.
We had an adventurous weekend getting out some. Friday night we went to Harper-Mitch's (that what Breelyn calls my brother's family, she's just slightly obsessed with them) for dinner and playtime (got to try out the WII fit, fun times), Saturday we took a family trip to Target then Callie, Grammie, and I went to Babies R US to get a Sit and Stand Stroller and then back to Target. We enjoyed Ben and Kim for dinner Saturday night. Breelyn thanks them royally for her princess crown and jewelry set. Sunday Callie celebrated 2 weeks of life going to church for the 1st time and then ending the night at Grammie and G-pa's for dinner provided by Ms Kathy, yummy!
One other thing I must share is my witty 2 year old's thinking. Breelyn has enjoyed the arrival of the swing and of course likes to push it and climb up on her stool and start it. Well you can see this calls for concern when Callie is in it. She has had several talks about not touching the swing when Callie is in it. So Saturday Callie was enjoying the swing and Breelyn had to rush over to check it out. I quickly caught Breelyn's attention and informed her sternly if she touches the swing she will go straight to timeout. Oh if you could see that mind racing and the temptation in her eyes. She soon decided I can touch Callie not the swing and that's just what she did. She announced proudly, "I touch Callie Mommy, I touch her." Well she didn't touch the swing, that smart little stinker!

Of course she is a smart little stinker. Hope your first night solo with both kids went well. I love the photo of Breelyn watching Callie in the swing. Very sweet.
