Callie turned 6 months yesterday! She had her check up today and weighed 17 lbs (75th%) and 25 in (40th%). Despite having a cold all is well, just need to work on the sleeping at night routine! I was informed she doesn't need the calories at night, it is so hard to turn her down though especially when your so tired yourself. She is rolling everywhere and seems to get where she needs to with those cute stubby legs.
We started a little rice cereal around 5 months but now are giving it more consistently and she is actually consuming some. So far she has tried bananas, apples, squash, and peas. She seems to like the peas best next to the spoon itself!
We had a blast this weekend enjoying the lovely warm weather, Callie loved going to the park with her big sister and cousins, she was so content watching all the kiddos play but those eyes gleamed with the thought of joining them. It's so cute watching her watch Breelyn play, she gets so into it.
Well of course I have to include a Breelyn shot and since today she is 2 and 10 months old, it's definitely deserving!
I also have to share the cookies we made last night for her Valentine Day party at school today! Even though they aren't as cute as the picture in the magazine I am proud on how they turned out. I need to learn how to tie a bow correctly.

I love the cookies. You did a great job. Of course, I already knew about your professional cookie decorating skills because you can decorate a mean Christmas cookie. Great shots of sweet Callie.
These pictures of Callie on the sriped blanket are adorable! What a big girl sitting up by herself! And your cookies turned out quite precious...
