It's COLDs and puppy dog prayers

Well Momma Cotton has been slacking on the whole blog writing lately, mainly because she just hasn't felt real great the past month or 2. The Cotton Girls (which includes me) seem to be catching every COLD around town. Just when we think were getting better it seems like the scratchy throat, runny nose, and hacking cough begins again! I promise we wash hands around here. I guess this it what happens when you place a child in preschool and then that child rubs and kisses all over you and her baby sister! Despite the lingering sickness, the girls are doing great! Callie as of 2am Monday started pulling herself up in the crib and she thinks she is big stuff! Breelyn is all about APRIL 11, her birthday. She can't wait for her PRINCESS themed party at the FARM! Is Princess and Farm allowed in the same sentence? Guess she's a COUNTRY PRINCESS!

On a sadder note, Our beloved Brubeck is in need of PRAYERS! Saturday morning he became paralyzed on his left hind leg, Stephen rushed him to the vet and he was diagnosed with a compressed disc in his back, he was given steroids that didn't really help and symptoms worsened. His return appt Monday left me thinking it was the end for him, surgery was going to be out of reach for us, then Tuesday surgery was going to be a possible option due to a generous donation. Except now the specialist we saw yesterday thinks it's not a disc and most likely a stroke, brain tumor, or meningitis, didn't see this coming. Still no real answers. We took him home yesterday and my plan is to just give him so major lovin! We may get some answers from some blood work performed but no guarantee. Definitely a whirlwinded of emotions for me and the thought of most likely losing my lovechild and having to tell my sweet little girl her puppy-dog is going to heaven. Just keep us in your prayers! (the day I got Brubeck and engaged!)

Awww, Gina, that makes me tear up! I know how real puppy-love is. Just the other day I was telling Micheal that it makes me sad to think of ever losing Murphy, and I started bawling just thinking about it! I'll keep you & the family in my prayers. Hope your colds are getting better. I can't believe Callie is pulling up already... what an advanced girl!
