We're Still Smiling!

Well the Cotton girls survived their 1st day without Daddy. Yesterday Stephen returned to work and it was just me and the girls. It actually went quite well. (Okay I am now restarting this after 6 hours and thinking I jinked myself, today has been a little more hectic. Callie wants to eat every 1/2 to 1 hour, perhaps a growth spurt? Now back to the original story.)The morning went very well. Callie slept most of the morning and Breelyn and I enjoyed some quality play time. I even got a shower in, got to love an episode of Dora. We then had a lovely grilled cheese sandwich for lunch, we need to go grocerying rather badly but I don't think I am quite brave enough to venture out without some assistance. Breelyn then took a 3 hour nap, how nice of her. Callie on the other hand decided she wanted to be in mommy's arms this entire time, but we enjoyed watching some Olympics and lounging on the couch, dozing alittle. (Okay we are now taking a disney princess break, Breelyn enjoys their website, thanks Daddy.) After Breelyn's nap it was only 2 hours til Daddy got home. Of course this time was alittle more trying, I think it always is when your anticipating. Lets just say I asked God to grant me patience several times. I do have to say the oldest definitely takes the heat. Daddy finally arrived home a little later than expected, but we got food and Breelyn was so excited to see him. They really bonded last week. All in all a good first day and for now we're all still smiling! (Okay since it has taken me more than 24 hours to post this, we survived the 2nd day as well and now working on the 3rd, which we made it to the post office and back with no tears, yipee!)
